ubilinux™ is an embedded Linux distribution from Emutex and is based on Debian. It is targeted at embedded devices that have limited memory and storage capabilities.

 

ubilinux for UP

ubilinux 3.0 based on Debian 8 Linux kernel version 4.4 is now available for UP. The distribution is available to download from our online UP Community. UP is a feature rich, powerful and versatile Intel Atom X5 board that will allow both makers and professionals to quickly develop new projects and industrial applications. The board is available to purchase through the UP Shop. Join our UP Community to gain access to technical documentation and support. You can also download the ubilinux image from here and install it using these installation instructions.

 

ubilinux for Intel® Edison

ubilinux 2.0 based on Debian 7 linux kernel version 3.8 is available as a flashable image for Intel® Edison based platforms. The installer package can be extracted onto a Linux host, and the image flashed to the Edison platform via USB cable. The distribution contains C, C++ compilers, Perl, Python, Node.JS, as well as a sketch downloader for compatibility with the Edison Arduino IDE.

ubilinux for Intel® Galileo

ubilinux 1.0 based on Debian 7 linux kernel version 3.4 is available as a USB installer image for Intel® Quark™ based platforms: Intel® Galileo and Intel® Galileo Gen2. The installer package can be extracted and copied to a USB key using Windows explorer or any other standard file copying mechanism.
